Our Mission

Let us share our 30 years of local fence experience with you. Any construction project, especially a new fence, can be time-consuming and complicated as many choices must be made. The most important part of the decision-making process is educating yourself about all aspects of your purchase.

Veterans Fence will help you choose the best type of fence for your particular needs, whether your goal is added security, privacy, or aesthetics. After you have selected the best type of fence for your needs, we will assist with the selection of the style and product specifications that is most functional for your needs while keeping your budget in mind.

What to Expect

Permit Process

Veterans Fence will take care of the permitting process for you. We fill out all necessary permit applications and forms and submit them to your local building department for approval. If you live in a community with deed restrictions, we are happy to assist you with your Homeowner’s or Condominium Association’s approvals.

Underground Public Utilities

Prior to commencement of any work, all public underground utilities will be located to protect them from being damaged. Often the proposed location of a fence may need to be shifted due to a conflict with power, water, sewer, phone, or cable location. Public Utilities do not include: Propane tank lines, irrigation systems, and custom data and phone lines, these are considered privately owned utility lines. Veterans Fence will NOT be liable for damage to any of the aforementioned privately owned underground systems that cannot be seen.

Please call your irrigation contractor out to check your irrigation system after the fence installation is complete. As most sprinkler heads are located along the property lines, there may be conflicts with the new fence, especially privacy fences. This will ensure that your lawn and landscaping have proper water coverage.

Additionally, we will verify your property lines prior to the installation of your new fence.

Professional Installation

Veterans Fence installation crews are full-time employees, locally experienced in both residential and commercial installations. We carry General Liability, Worker’s Compensation, and Auto Insurance with coverage limits that exceed the industry standard, allowing us to work for any municipality or commercial contractor on small or large projects. At times, to meet scheduling requirements and to match the right crew for specific installations, we will employ the services of sub-contractors that we have worked with for many years. These crews are fully insured with General Liability, Worker’s Compensation, and Auto Insurance equal to our own.

Some fence companies may use sub-contractors that are underinsured or they may only possess a worker’s compensation exemption certificate. Anyone working on your property that is worker’s compensation exempt may put you, the homeowner at risk in the event of an injury.

Our installers are professional, courteous, and take a lot of pride in their work. Our installer will be happy to conduct a walk-thru inspection of the completed fence project, provided you are on-site and available to do so.

Job Inspection

Veterans Fence installs all of our projects according to the manufacturer’s specifications, City and/or County Codes. Each job requires an inspection and subsequent approval by the appropriate municipality. We take a lot of pride in providing you with a quality installation using only the best products available.

Veterans Fence employs a field supervisor who randomly checks installations for quality, directs the crews when problems arise on jobs, and provides supervision when starting a custom installation. Our field supervisor is responsible for ensuring that each customer receives the level of service that we demand. Remember, at Veterans Fence, Customer Satisfaction is our priority.

Satisfaction Follow-Up

Upon completion of your project, you will be contacted to discuss the project’s completion and the date the inspection will take place. If you have any questions or concerns with your new fence, please let us know at that time. We will gladly meet with any customer to do an orientation and walk-thru inspection of your fence upon completion in the event you were unavailable at the time the installer completed the project.
